Possumcop and I went on a hunt and I landed some goodies. 6 wheats, buff, broken toy jet, St. Christopher wings, my biggest hem weight, a 1943 Silver Quarter and a old lock safe key!!! Great day with a great bud. It doesnโ€™t get any better. IMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPGIMG_0012.JPG

Had a great time as usual Truth!!! Once again, congrats of those outstanding finds!!! I'm waiting on Minelab to call me back regarding the issue with my Nox Coil, hopefully I'll have it back up and running soon, in the mean time I still have my CTX, just wish I had that Coiltek 10"x 5" coil. I'll be hollering at you within the next couple days, I'm off this weekend, so maybe we can give it another try...

"D"

Bro you my man I always have a great time hunting with you weโ€™re going to do it again soon.

Great finds Truth. Glad that coil is doing some damage now. How does that test dime sound now with the 6" coil and update? If you are keeping sensitivity at the same level as with the 11" coil that may partially be the secret to your success. Using the small coil is similar to reducing sensitivity on the big coil (there are other factors in play to like having fewer targets residing under the coil at any one time due to the smaller area covered by the coil). But I recommend dialing down on the sensitivity if you do put the 11" coil back on at a thick iron site and see how it does. Great job.

D - what's going on with your coil?

Went out to the park for a hour today and put on the 11โ€ to test out. Didnโ€™t find anything worth while. Question do you use GB tracking? I heard some say donโ€™t, but the ground out here I could go to different places at the same location and get different GB numbers each time. Not to mention why wouldnโ€™t you use GB tracking thatโ€™s what itโ€™s there for.

You've been finding some cool stuff lately....Makes me want to dig out the detector!!! I may, and let my Son dig, since he likes digging up the yard anyhow, looking for "treasure".:laughing7:

Hey Nitric why havenโ€™t you been swinging buddy?

well...I'm married now and.....Oh!!! You mean the detector? :laughing7: I Usually get it out and go like crazy for a few months then it sits in the closet..I've been like that for years. I guess that's what keeps it fun!! I moved some stuff here from Ohio last summer, the room that the detector is in is packed with stuff....But I need to dig it out!! My son is 3 1/2 and think he would really get into digging targets. He watched a "treasure" movie and has been digging the yard up with a plastic shovel..He will work for hours on dirt as hard as concrete with that little plastic thing.:laughing7:
