Just got a 6 by 10 DD coil hope its good

I've been using the stock coil on my M6 for a while and wanted to use a better coil. I've heard the 6 by 10 DD is a good coil . i got lucky and I found one for 86 bucks .
I wanted something with better target I'd separation for parks beaches. I hope it turns out to be a good coil.

I want to get one for my V3i sometime because I really like this coil on my MXT, especially in the woods because it doesn't get snagged on stuff and it covers ground reasonably good. I have tried using this coil on my V3i but it don't work very good unless you turn the RX gain way down low. The only coil that I have that's not v rated that works on my V3i is the 4x6 and I got lucky with this one cause I can turn my detector all the way up with it with great results.

Well first day out with the 6 by 10 it's not bad. A bit easier to use in trashy areas and sounds off targets much cleaner and allows for a slightly faster sweep speed. Found a buck ten in clad some were nickels. The only downside of the coil is its less deep than the stock coil on the M6 and Mxt . The m6 likes nickels and foil and pull tabs . Wich is a plus

If your looking for a deep seeking coil with good separation then you need the D2 coil. HH

Get the 6x10 - you will never take it off the MXT.

I just put my 6X10 DD coil on my MXT Pro. This is the set up I will be using for 2013. I recently did some air testing with it and I know I will lose depth with this coil. Most of my finds lately have been under 6" anyway. The 12" spider coil is too sensitive.
