The large round disc with an eagle on it apprears to be a US Army enlisted-man's Regulation 1826 shoulder-belt plate (commonly known as an "eagle breastplate"), which was in use from 1826 though the end of the civil war (1865) and a few years into the Indian Wars era. Need some close-up photos of its front and back.

Also need close-up photos of the button's front and back to ID it and date it accurately.

The bullet cartridge-casing has a "neck" at it's top, so it is from sometime later than the civil war. To give you a specific ID we need a close-up photo showing its base, even though you say it is unmarked, and super-precise measurement of its long cylindrical main body (not the wide rim around its base).

I see your member-info says you live in Iowa. Did you find all of these objects in Iowa?
