I was able to get out for a couple of hours on Saturday. It wasn't a stellar day but found 2 keepers. 1909s Barber dime in bad condition, and an old trade token from the early 1900's, J M O'Rourke & Co for 5 cents. My research shows it may have been for a grocer or more logically a company store token as this company was the one that constructed the Roosevelt Dam here in Arizona in the early 1900's. Also found some clad coins, and a pouch full of junk. This location has been pounded to death, but still finding some deep keepers. Love the token. I don't find many of those. Its always fun to research the company history, when possible. Enjoy your time in AZ.

I also love the tokens. I don't find many trade tokens so that is really cool for me.

Congrats on the two very nice finds. Tokens are always welcome.

I don't know how part of my original post got on your post.

Whenever I metal detect I'm in paradise... but I can see where being in Arizona would make it even better. Nice hunt!
