So the first day of the yearly family vacation to the Jersey shore, decided to hit the beach for an hour or 2. Brought my Ace 250 for my soon to be father in law to use and gave him a crash course. He found some clad which he was excited about. As for me, hit the wet sand for a little, but opted to try the dry. The beach seemed pretty sanded in.

I came up with about a dollar in clad, but the surprise of the hunt was my first Canadian toonie. Still have 6 days here so hoping for more luck. HH

You shared some time with the soon to be father in law and he had fun, you found some targets on a sanded in beach so no shut out on the first day, you got the toonie, you spent time with the new family and your fiance I'd guess and you were at the beach. Sounds like a wonderful time to me!! Have some more fun!!!!!!!!!!!!.........................63bkpkr

Man, you nailed it. All bases covered. Everyone happy; bikinis, beach and sun. Enjoy this time of your life, take nothing for granted and...happy hunting.

BTW - first year in 10 that I'm not at LBI this time of year. Have an elephant ear and a fried Oreo for me.

Oh absolutely. Looks like there's going to be nice weather here as well. I can't complain at all. Lots of people enjoying the weather on the beach too, although the water is quite cold. I'll grab some monkey bread today from OC.
