Somebody ask to repost this weekends finds and here it is just the civil war buttons found in one little section of a field between a old home site and a barn and will also post the 1812 corps cuff button separately Thanks again for all the like didn't realize it was that big of a deal , To me just being able to bring it home to share even if it was a bullet Thanks

These Days those finds are a BIG BIG BIG Deal.

Congratulations.

Never Dug a 'Sun Burst' NC button Or 1 like your others except the General Service Types , & The NC 'Weak Shank ' Types saw pretty good action in my parts.

Also I don't ever expect to find a 1812 button unless it was lost at 'Show & tell'.

Williedigit, Congrat's on some Fantastic finds on the CW buttons. The Confetrit' Block I button, the Artillery buttons, the North Carolina sun burst, and the Eagle general service buttons. Awl (as we say down South) are Great finds. Beat this area to death with your coil. There is bound to be more where these came from. Continued Success to you. These will look great in your display. A very good hunt indeed.
