From the west coast of the continent....California:
Last weeks high tides brought out some goodies from my Erosion Beach.
Another Franklin Half, 1948 (got a 1958 a week ago) and a couple of 1944 War Nickels...But Friday's hunt got me a real keeper!
Right under the ledge of the sharp cut an iffy signal (with my White's PI). First scoop out and the signal's still there so I checked the 1st scoop's sand...a signal there too. That one turned out to be a copper penny. Back to the original signal. Took me two more scoops and a gorgeous circle of Gold in the scoop. I yell out: :"That's what I'm looking for!"
It's 14K with three diamonds (I'm assuming real). I'm also guessing this is an old ring from no more recent than the 50's or 60's. Quite a bit of erosion on the surfaces ...the design groove remains shinier.
