It sorta/kinda looks like an ulu knife or New England gorget made from Bowenite or some other flavor of serpentine.

I'm honestly curious as to what it is.

Hey joshuaream - Sorry it took so long to get back with your answer. This is not a piece that i found personally. Even though many people on this forum does not believe i receive beautiful gifts - I DO. This is in no way towards you. My friends exchange gifts many times just to be one up on the other. I travel miles upon miles with a loaded down truck full of tools and out of surprise just to help them, sometimes days on end with no payment asked for. I help with numerous charity events and God has blessed me with GOOD,GOOD PEOPLE who honestly get more enjoyment and blessings out of giving than the other way around. This may be hard for some to swallow, but love and kindness goes a long, long way. Sometimes i keep information low and private for a reason. Out of respect for other individuals, authenticators, land owners, collectors, etc.. Now back to the piece. It was made from Fluorite i believe. I have had 1 authenticator look at it and he described it as ceremonial boatstone, ornament, gorget, etc. I would love your thoughts. It has classic drilling from both sides and even without the scope you will see minerals, patina and classic sanding and polish. God bless you and i hope to continue correspondence. ALWAYS RESPECTFULLY, Mogi
