good lord! it even has a nose

That's some pretty stone, for sure.

It needs a nose and smile to complete the piece. That stone did buff up nicely.

Ok, that is some kind of crazy lol! My 2 year old granddaughter loves creek hunting with me. I would love to see the happy dance she would do if she found something that colorful in our creek! What is the type of stone?

ok - I will bite.

Whats the story on this bizarre looking item and why do you not supply any information with it?

1) its not a form of any gorget I am familiar with.
2) its not a material commonly seen a gorget is made of.

On the positive side, your post title did not imply its an Indian artifact, but a piece instead.

It sorta/kinda looks like an ulu knife or New England gorget made from Bowenite or some other flavor of serpentine.

I'm honestly curious as to what it is.

Could it be that if you hold it up and look through the holes, you can see goblins and fairies, like in the Spiderwick Chronicles?

Mogi, I'm really curious... what is it? 6 people have asked for more information or at least an explanation as to what it is so I know a lot of people would appreciate more info..

Thanks!
