Hi Guys-
Sadly, on the 11:00 News last night, it was
stated that a diver had died off the Jupiter Inlet.
They said that the lifeguards from Jupiter beach had tried to revive him, so it must have been right up close, (I figure). The report stated that he "was looking for treasure coins, using surface supplied air".
Anyone have any information? Nothing in todays paper.....and nothing else on the news that I saw. Hope it wasn't one of the folks from TNet, but
ya'll be careful now, OK?

oh my gosh! Im so sorry to hear that!
I hope his family and friends find comfort somehow. Prayers sent to them.

Vaya con dios to Mr. Meyers, and condolences to his family and loved ones.

JUPITER -- A 24-year-old man died Sunday afternoon after he went diving 300 yards off a Jupiter beach with friends and family and went into distress, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.

Timothy Meyers, of Cleveland, Ohio, was rushed him to Jupiter Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:38 p.m.

After learning Meyers had gone into distress, friends and family members found him unresponsive on the bottom of the ocean floor, officials said.

Paramedics were called and they took him to the hospital.

Investigators learned that Meyers did not have scuba diver certification.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

Deputies said his death appeared to be accidental.

No foul play was suspected.
