First I went to a county park swimming area then I went to a public access site on the way back home. I found the token at the county park along with a bunch of other stuff and I found both rings at the public access site, I zapped the silver one cause it was really black with tarnish.

Love that token, "redeem before July 30th, 1948" :headbang:

What caliber is that round of ammo?

Cool ring. That token is cool. Don't you hate that it's expired.

Thanks for all the great replies everyone  I sprayed the pliers down with some penetrating oil last night and it cleaned them up nicely after some additional soap and water.

Little did I realize after posting this pic of the pliers after a little research I found out these are actually early Crafstman tools http://home.comcast.net/~alloy-artifacts/craftsman-early-tools-p4.html#dunlap

I know that water felt good , like finding that sliver, coins or rings, that token is cool but your a little late on cashing it in:laughing7:. Congrats on some good finds..

Nice finds, I found a decent screwdriver the other day, unfortunately it was one of my better finds.

That looks like some kind of necklace or bracelet clasp in the picture with the rings. Look closely at it as I found one recently that was silver and could only see the markings with a magnifying glass. Nice finds.

Nice Silver Ring (thumbs up)

Actually it unscrews and when I found it, it had a long piece of fishing line with a sinker on it so a fisherman was using it for rigging up his line. I'm sure they're used on bracelets with a stretch band as well, now that you say that it makes sense.

Nice rings and Token ! :)
