JohnyMac and tinpan take TN newbie to the Derwent Gully

Hi all, Last saturday a mate of mine Johny Mac and I took a Newbie from Australian section of TN for a 3 hour hunt.Latter this year we plan to take a few others out. Anyway there 2 johns lol We worked the side of the hill at the Derwent gully . Johny Mac is not a member of TN yet and john whos real name is Troy is a Kiwi that lived here for about 10 years.We spread out across the hill and worked mainly around the tailing dumps of the hard rock mines .Mostly junk found and Troy found a killer specy and i manage 2 pieces of colour and Johny as usual found the most.Pleasant day compared to the resent heat wave. All had fun and plenty of laughs and this time we didn,t end up with a hang over for once.
