Would anyone who has a copy or image of the 1948 or 1958 version be willing to share it publicly or privately?

Map of the Lost Dutchman and other legendary mine areas in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. Anaheim, 1948

Much appreciated if so!
Geoffnotjeff,
I have a 1948 copy of the J. Alan Stirrat map. The problem is it is a large map, 41 x 53 There is no way to actually shrink it down without losing the resolution. Also the copy is old and very fragile from use.
I was told that there was a reduced version of the 1959 map but have never seen one and don't know anything about it. The 1959 version has several updates to it.
I think your best bet is to contact the Goldfield Ghost Town museum or the Superstition Mountain museum at Apache Junction. Both of them might have a copy of the Stirrat map and may have the capability to reproduce it in its original size.
The Stirrat map shows the oldest trails through the Superstitions (Spanish and Mexican as well as Military).

Thank you. I have heard there is a single copy in a library as well, and on my next visit to the area i had planned on visiting to see if its still there.

Have you ever considered taking a photograph of it? Even a modern cell phone picture from above would be of great use to us younger searchers trying to reconcile long lost (to us) names of places along with a lot of the trails that map had located.

Good morning Gentlemen. I have a copy of both versions of Stirrat Map. The versions differ only the date and couple of details. I am most willing to share it with anyone and you may make copies of it. I live in Tempe, Arizona. Cordially, Gregory E. Davis

Hi Greg, I live in Phoenix and would love to see the maps. I have an open daily schedule and am able to drive anywhere in the valley to see them.
