Found this at a late 1800’s site. Appears to be copper, but looks as though it was gold plated at one time. Has flower decoration on three sides, and is blank on three sides. The center of the flower has prongs and held a stone at some time.

Could be a piece of jewelry . To me it looks like a contact brush to an electric motor, but that I wouldn't think would have any flower impression on it.

it looks like it might have been a gold-filled fob from the late victorian period. they were made in a variety of metals and stones.

here is another example (source: rubylane). check the corners of yours to see if you can detect any evidence of a jump ring attachment.
