Thanks IronSpike, it looks like your spot on, the size also matches exactly. Got to admit I didn't think it was English or as early. English jetons are much rarer to find expecially in this condition, got to clean it now.

I lived in Nantes France 1 year and I always called them Jetons ;D Jettons sounds good to me, haven't found one yet :D

IMO this is a Banner find :icon_king: My vote is in :hello2:

I did cook some snails last week, a bit disapointing didn't taste of much, other than red wine and garlic.

When I'm on the piss I crave garlicy, buttery snails.

I have had many whilst in Belgium, quite nice really
