Jade?

Is this jade? I was looking through my old stock and found this piece that really looks to be jadeite or nephrite but I am unsure. I polished one side to see its true color. Any ideas?

I would say green Jasper though. What state/country did you find it in?

I have had it for so long I honestly don't remember where I found it, out west most likely

I have some material very similar to that from Clear Creek out here in Cali. Always been a pain trying to get help identifying them. Hope someone else chimes in on this. Damn nice looking material regardless.
