Wish I could up my numbers. I could if I knew for sure if I was working on Saturdays, I dont know until Thursday so ordering extra boxes out of town is not exactly easy if I cant pick them up. Cant keep the tellers happy if you dont show up when they expect you.
 

You need to quit your job to get this many boxes. Think about it, ___ boxes worth of halves. I'm guessing he also has a bank that accepts bag's of coin's brought in. Just subtract the number of silver found from the total of a box of halves then he put's that amount on the bag. most people have to wait around at a coin machine, and this can take hour's for that high of a quantity.

IRS, dawg, if they read your post 80 boxes/week. God's sake, they are going to give you the death penalty. ______ worth of coin!!!!/Week. You are going to dry the silver up.

I'm right across the river and I've got 68 boxes coming this week, then 80 next, and gunning for 100 the week after that... Go big or go home. :)
 

i wish! if i could establish a better dump bank system, i would up my volume!! pickup banks are the easier part!!

Same here, have the bankroll and the time, but not enough dump banks.

He has his pickup and dump system down. He drives a couple hours away to dump his coin. It is actually kind of amazing to me how much is able to do. Also, he is self employed, I believe, so his hours are very flexible. He and bigscores are the quantity kings.
 

Wow.. More power to you guys.. Its awesome you guys can search that much volume.. I don't have nearly enough money to do so, but even if I did, I would never want to search that much.. My back gives me enough pain already..lol.. May your boxes be loaded my friends..

Please don't compare me and bigscores. We are nothing alike. He finds 3 times more then me with much less boxes?? Thanks. I had a few bad weeks. last week was good with 27.5 oz I made $3000 today net am so busy i put a roof on a barn. If i had the time i could do so many boxes. I have 4 houses 3 got damaged from the storm. Am getting $11.000 from one. Thats more for crh JUST WAIT. You think 100 boxes is alot thats nothing.I crh just a little now i called to get more i only got 8 extra. so i think this week might be?? 80 boxes. Who knows. I hope we all do great in the few weeks.

Don't get so defensive Tim.. He was only comparing you and BigScores because you both do the most volume out of all of us.. I seriously don't understand why this has to be a competition for you.. Just be happy for him and the finds you both make.. With that said, you are saying that you don't search that much and plan on searching much more than 100 boxes a week.. What amount is too much for you? Don't you worry about getting cut off at some point? If I was doing that kind of volume to begin with, I would be seriously be worried about stepping up my orders.. Think of how much work you are creating for them.. I would hate to see you get cut off man.. Just something to think about it.. You have a great system set up.. don't push it too much.. Good luck this week buddy..
 

I talked to TD, and it was implied that anything more than 40-50 bags a week would be pushing it.

I could careless what he does. Whatever i have my banks fat and happy there my friends. And do everything they can for me. The only one am in competition with is me. I have 4 dump banks right now. As soon as i can get in to pa i will set up a few more banks to take my bags.And pick up ? 60 boxes a week. I will dump 50 bags a week there soon. I don't think they will come back to my area?? Will see. I might pay my step son to move boxes and bags for me hes out of work? will see. I made adeal for a 4100 lb safe today. used its a 30 /15/6x top of the line. $5000 And i have to pick it up.The safe i have now only holds $20.000 in clad its way to small.
 

I am picking up a box of halves in a few hours, you better watch out!
