It's nothing fancy, but it's stamped .925 and it's silver, so I'm happy! Found it at a pounded out park where I found my only walking liberty and my second silver quarter next to each other. It was about 3 inches down and made my F2 just SCREAM. I knew it was gonna be good.

great find. I love the way silver makes a detector sing

Congrats on the ring. I've found plenty of those, but after six years of hunting, I have yet to dig a silver quarter, let alone a silver half.

Damn I hear stuff like this all the time. I must be really lucky because in my month and a half of detecting I've found 5 silvers (1x half, 3x quarter, 1x barber dime), this ring, about 50 wheaties, and a ring that may be gold but I haven't tested it yet.

I guess I just got lucky and there aren't many other detectorists where I live.

That is a wonderful find ! (chunky silver rings always make me happy !) For a month and a half of detecting , you are killin it man !!!

Congrats on your First! :occasion14:
