It's Not A Coin

I dug this item the other day, at a site that has yielded items from the early 1800s until present. This item was really deep in the hard pack dirt, which make me think that it might be old.

It weighs at least a couple of ounces. It has the same design on both side. Fatter in the middle, than on the edges. No ferrous, not silver, but shiny when scratched. Appears to have a casting line around the edge.

Any idea what this is?

Appears to be cast, not ringing any bells though.

It's a clock pendulum, look at #E in the photo. One of these was on here earlier.
