It's iron, but what is it **SOLVED- Buggy lantern holder**

I dug this at a plantation house property. It was out in the woods by an old cellar hole.
Any ideas?

Thanks to both of you Savant and Breezie for the ID. That made my day just knowing I have a piece from a buggy or stagecoach. There was an old stagecoach stop BTW very close to this spot.
We'll call this one SOLVED.
