I hunted a yard of a standing house in my home town over the weekend. The house is slated for demolition, and although it shows on the 1867 atlas, the only mid 19th century find I came up with was an 1848 Large Cent. It did however give up some silver, including an 1892-O dime and a 1917 dime on a previous hunt a couple weeks ago.

Here are the latest finds:

Wow, what a site. I'd hit that place in multiple directions and with a few different coils. Any site that gives up that many keepers deserves some serious attention. Congrats on digging a first and for exploiting that site. :occasion14: I know these aren't the type of coins you list on your posts, but they are great finds, especially in quantity.
Thanks Loco, I have gotten 5 silvers, including 3 Barbers so far from this site. I will have to get my spies to keep an eye on the place. When the demo the house they might move some dirt around which could expose some deeper stuff.
BTW, no firsts on this dig. This was my 3rd Barber half.

That's an awesome mix of coins- Congrats!!
