It's always the...

... small average looking old houses that put out the coins. This house I detected today is for sale, so every time people stopped to look at it I would give them a tour of the property. Not only did they get a tour, but they also got some history of our town thrown in.

Perfect day to detect. Cool, nice soft sandy soil and friendly strangers who were interested in real estate.

Now that was a productive day. CONGRATS

Funny, years ago, before my parents sold their home, I detected both front and back yards. NADA thing!!!! Funny, I know I lost money in both yards as a kid. But the kicker is the house was built in 1901, you would think there would have been one coin there!..

There's no date on the SLQ or the Buffalo, but the SLQ was the very first coin I found and it set the tone for the rest of the day.

Since I know the past and future of the neighborhood people were really interested in my real estate agent skills. Even though I was just there to metal detect. It was very entertaining.

Have to agree with you on that one, my cousin lived in a house in Greensboro, built in the 40s / early 50s, just an average, simple house, found move silver in that yard than any other I have detected.
