Any information would be appreciated

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Alongside ‘Italy’ it has ‘KB NY’, which is for the importer Koscherak Brothers of New York. They began importing fine ceramics and glassware in 1895, operating as a wholesaler to high-end department stores and boutiques (Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, B. Altman and such), and had a major showroom on 5th Avenue. They imported a large amount of the ceramic output of Ugo Zaccagnini, but this is an unsigned piece with a generic Italian workshop mark from the mid-20th Century with a value in the region of $25-$30.
