I was hunting on the beach at Presque Isle State Park in Erie, PA today when I picked up a shallow trash type signal. I made one scoop in the sand and there in the bottom of the scoop was neatly folded blue piece of paper secured by a paper clip. I pulled the clip and unfolded the paper and out pops a twenty dollar bill. Not bad.

Yes, that is also a Merc dime, found it knee deep just off shore, a very unusual find for this area since sand is trucked in every year.

That is really cool. Love to hear stories like this one. Finding a very unexpected sweet surprise like the $20 in addition to a great haul on coinage.
