More like WWII...What a bitch.... to have to carry that thing from bunker to bunker, from fox hole to fox hole!!! Now... it's satlite watches. :o

the good thing was that not many could work the radio and even fewer had a clue how it worked inside. if you were the radio guy, you were valuable!

I will use it for storing old military gear like bayonets, canteens, ammo etc

the center divider piece comes out easily to make more room, it just lifts right out

Not neccessarily Rob, we still use the good ole PRC "prick" radios.

it looks like an old WWII foot locker that the military used. they didnt usualy make shipping and storage crates that heavy duty for supplies. but i could be wrong. good luck!
