Is This a Military Button? 1830's Ives & Kendrick Co. Die Cut Star Button.

Found a two piece 1830's Ives & Kendrick Co. button today. Rough shape, but still a neat find. It has a die cut star pattern on the front, so I was wondering if it's a military button? Any help would be appreciated!

Florida had a six pointed star but not similar to yours.
Texas and Mississippi had five pointed star buttons. Sorry I tried.
