Just a rock...

Looks to be a chunk of limestone by the gray color. Dont see any alterations on it from my seat.

If your from the upper portion of the U.S it "might" be an erratic rock brought down by glacier activity. I could be wrong, but I have one with similar markings. Hh

look like plow marks however...found in a field?

I bet your right unclemac. I've never lived on a farm, but living a bit south of the Canadian shield I see erratic boulders in the strangest places. Probably why that was my first thought. Several years ago I found this near a marsh which has never been cultivated & assumed it an erratic but who knows? I know it's "Just a rock..." & the wrong forum for this, but whatever. Either way I agree that is likely natural USA1.

Personally, I would say it's possible. Especially if one side is polished flat. I have found that style in large quantities. It's rather crude but the edge makes sense for its use.IMAG1587.jpg

Sorry, just a rock, I see no signs of being worked by man.
