Is this a drilled pendant? The hole on the side in the first photo is wider than the far side, which is shown in the 2nd photo. I found it on the beach in South florida, so its smoothed and the hole edges rounded off, I imagine. Kind of mystified as to what stone it is...if it is stone.

Hard to say with the water wear and polish on it. Id of picked it up and it would still make a nice neck piece either way.
 

I would have to say no, I don't like the hole shape, not saying they could have used it as naturally formed, but prob not . Normal creek find here in ohio . That's my opinion , thanks for asking

There are literally millions of things on the beach in Florida with natural holes in them.
It's a type of sedimentary rock called cochina.
