Dangerous?

I suppose it depends on how fast it is traveling. :)

For example:

But really, probably a mixture of an iron ore with some quartz in it. Only way it would be dangerous is if it had arsenic or uranium in it. Check the geology of the area it was found in for the answer. Arsenic is ok unless you chomp or lick it. Don't pulverize. Uranium, not so good, but I don't think Texas has any large uranium deposits in it, but that's from memory and we all know how memory goes!

Can't wait for the fall detecting season. I skipped the beach this year.

if someone has it in their hand and is trying to bash your skull in, then yes it could be dangerous
