is the blue boul any good

Many people use them. I have one and used it for a long time...until, I found all of the fine gold in the tailings that went over the cone. So, now I utilize the old panning method...works better for me.

Looks like I am going to by one but should I get a pump for it.

I use a hose and fresh water. I bought the pump used it now I don't. There is another thread going in prospecting that is titled blue bowl muddy water or something like that, you may find some info there useful. I would get the leveling feet that attach to a bucket.

Ok thanks man

Most Blue Bowl kits I have seen come with the pump.
I set up a plastic storage tub with a 5 gallon bucket inside it. I run the pump on an old car battery, hooked up to a battery charger.
This lets you saturate your recycling system with jet-dry to keep the fine fine gold from floating away.
The leg levelers are key.
Fill the 5 gallon bucket up with water inside the tub
fill the tub about 6 inches deep
hook the levelers up to the 5 gallon bucket, set the blue bowl on the levelers
fill the blue bowl with water, hook up the hose to the pump
level the bowl, can't stress this enough, I check it and make adjustments as necessary throughout the process
add a couple drops of jet dry to the bowl, couple down the hole into the bucket and a couple into the tub.
Classify your cons in groups, 100, 70, 50, 30 (I think 20's can be easily panned manually) mesh. (number of squares of screen per inch. For instance window screen is 20 mesh I think)
Add it in wet, and not while its spinning from a tablespoon at a time for 100 mesh to 3 or 4 tablespoons by the time you get to the 30 mesh.

Hope this helps! :)

Ok do you have a used one that I can buy for 25$to30

You can add the material while it is spinning. Gold and heavies still drop to the bottom and you won't loose any gold. Just add material slowly.

But it has to be wet cons yes?

any tricks to cleaning micro gold In my blue bowl I'm new to the blue bowl I had heard jet dry and dish soap how does that work

Jet Dry and Dawn dish soap are sufactants. they break the water surface tension and get you gold to drop and not float on top of the water due to the water surface tension. useing hot water also helps break this water surface tension.

Thank you very much it worked great only thing I did wrong wus too much soap lol looked like a bubble bath in my barrel

Cool
