Is it worth the gas..

i have yet to coin roll hunt any type of silver coin, i just do pennies for copper and wheat's, but is it really worth driving to bank after bank just to get a silver coin or two, i realize some boxes payoff big but none the less i cant see that happening every time, i guess if you live in a big city or town you could probably hit quite a few banks with pretty low mileage. i have a lot of fun when i do coin hunt but i just wanted some feed back before i did decide to jump into silver coin roll hunting.

It's not worth it, especially in Michigan. Garoulady has been CRHing the whole state and it is completely dry of silver. Don't waste your time or gas!

Yeap completely isn't worth doing Michigan EVER. Hell I've NEVER even squeezed a solitary 40% half outta this downtrodden state after thousands of CWR halves, dimes, and quarters. Not to mention the hundreds of boxes of MWR. I haven't a thing to show for it. I agree with Garoulady nobody should waste their time here. All this state has is fossilized relics of it's bygone industrial era. So pack it up people. CRH'ers quit wasting your time here. I'd still do it just for fun though. B-)

Some times i drive 45 min to pick up a few boxes thinking there might be nothing and find 50 silvers?? And i just can't say no if there willing to get me boxes i will go get them. Its the hunt i open about 1/3 of my boxes while driving. Its easy for me. I just keep putting them in me ashtray.All my painted coins are gone?? Out of 66 boxes last week there only a few?? I wish i could paint again but i can't.
