Is it or isn't it?
A friend found this (rock) in the jungle, in the middle of Thailand. His family has been farming there and as they extend the fields, have found several of these (rocks). There has been no modern industry in that area, but could have been something, hundreds of years ago.
The weight is 648 gr. and 4.5 is the specific gravity. Scratch test leaves a gray/black mark. Filed a small window, but should have used a grinder, to get a better view, so didnt see much. My Excalibur gave no signal from it, and we used a microwave magnet, and got a very, very slight pull, almost couldnt feel it.
I know it doesnt look like a meteorite, but there are no other rocks in this area like this, so if it isnt a meteorite, what is it? Neither of us know much about meteors or rocks.
