Why not you buy from amazon because you get a router with good condition in low price there as well as you can get a used one there if any person is selling there

plus if it does not work to your satisfaction, use the easy peasy Amazon return policy.

Yes it is,just reset it to factory default setings and you are good to go,about https this is the protocol that establish an encripted connection between your computer and a web server on internet and has nothing to do with your router.
