Is it a fossil, or just a rock?l

Can anyone tell me if it is or isn't a fossil? It's shaped like a shell and has lines on it. Thanks!

Looks like a rock

Looks like a piece of limestone. Sometimes they have fossil impressions in them. Also sometimes they form in layers which leave those lines.
