I dont think Colombian Indians had facial hair so Im leaning toward Asian but I could be wrong.

looks like a fertility god (male) statue -- asain possible -- native indain type people seldom had any facial hair , so asian is a better bet that native indain type.

Welcome Satriani!

My first impression was SE Asia (Thai) or Bali/ Indonesia.

Yeah. My first thought was Cambodian/Khmer. Sure looks Southeast Asian.

Satriani--one thing you might search for is that style of headdress. I couldn't find any like that through quick google searching, but it may be a decent indicator of the location of statue.

I like it!

Good job guys!

I think this is an Indonesian ancestor figurine (adu zatua).

The first attempt at the Armour Star Weiner Mobile? Some say it was too sexist. Monty

DCMatt: You did the good job. I was only gut guessing. The example you offer seems to be "close enough" but is it done in iron or does the culture work in iron? That is pretty significant, I think. Unless these are modern pieces for ancestor worship. But Indonesia has been very hard core Moslem for some time. I don't know how much tolerence there is , but I am thinking not so much.

HI You all,and thanks for having me once again,i got some info today that the statue is most likely made of cast bronse from an old method called the lost wax process, which is i am told an acient way of making this kind of things ,so what i need to figure out now is did the nias people have knowledge of this cast bronse making back in the day, when they were making the adu zatua figurines, well that all for now, thanks again for all youre help and interest ingi iceland

Is it iron or bronze? ??? Its not hard to tell the difference. Do you have a magnet?

Lost wax is an old method, but it is very commonly used today. In fact, so common that is is a standard way to do things like rings. Odds are your wedding band was cast with the lost wax method.
