Iron piece and what I thought was a bullet ...

Take a look at these please....the first one is iron it looks like its still intact and might be something recognizable...the other I thought I was digging a bullet but Im not sure what it is now. It looks like a cartridge but wrapped with paper.... Thanks for taking the time I know I put alot of stuff on here that looks like junk but I dig pretty much everything and I learn alot from this site daily. Your time and effort is much appreciated.

the smaller relic you have looks like a old rivet with a little leather still attached.

I believe the second piece is whats left of a paper shotgun shell headstock.
after seeing the paper on the underneat I must agree with shotgunshell top.i bet it sounded like a button
