Perhaps i am missing something here.... you posted a METAL vs my IRON item that are similiar but not the same materials... era... OR application.

I'm not guessing .. I know from which I speak. I grew up around old farm equipment, but if you want to believe that ratcheting mechanisms and chain drives perform the same function, have at it. Call it as you wish.

It does appear to be a chain sprocket. However, sometimes the "ratchet" mechanism is internal.

I cleaned it up some but still can't make out the letters. I will post a picture any way.

That's what I was looking at was the space between the sprocket and bracket.

I only delete likes from those who never reciprocate ... and not just the ones who dont reciprocate just mine... if they ignore others as well... its true... happend once at least in the years i have been here... and been a long while since i purged the turds... hope i never do it again... once bitten twice shy thing now... so no need... unless they just urk me.
I try to be way more selective on likes.. and i ignore most posts by those that seem to ignore.

As far as "the list"... that doesnt really exist... but shhh dont tell anyone.
