Two different eras... two differnt locking mechanisms.... same function.

Guess you missed the modern version i posted.

PS... this could be possibly solved IF the OP had cleaned / posted the info that is clearly embosed on it.

No.. I didn't miss it .. and no .. not the same function at all. One is a ratcheting mechanism.. the other is a chain sprocket. Do you know the difference?
