This looks like some kind of tool, is made out of ferrous metal, was found on an 1800s farm in the woods, looks to be hand forged, has a slight flattening and dip at the end that my thumb feels quite comfortable in....and I have no clue what it might be. The loop broke during digging. The rust was removed with electrolysis and I epoxied the pieces together and used wax as a protective coating.

My silly modern day ideas would be a bubble wand or a pasta measurer. LOL but seriously, any ideas out there about this one?

As always, thanks for looking and for your creative thoughts!

P.S. I haven't been on as much lately as sadly my iPhone/IOS device no longer supports the treasurenet app. Congrats to all who have made cool finds that I missed.

Looks like an eye lifter for a wood burning stove.

... I think it’s a homemade lighter duty tire iron, or a pry tool of some sort...

AKA Tire spoon...
