Found this knife today, at a colonial farm site,
looks like a craft style knife
appears to have bone or antler handle and maybe one brass lozenge stud, any insight to its age and use
much appreciated

We need an "old knife" section for identification and sharing. Be a good learning tool maybe?

Great idea! I have at least 50 pocket knives I've found over the years. Just assumed they all had wooden handles. Now I'm going to have to clean them up to see if any are bone handles. If I have any doubts about the handle composition, I'll post them here for some help.
