Interesting walk, clad, exercise and a bit of vindication.

First of all, I thought I was having hallucinations. I was seeing elephants!

At least.....they weren't pink. :tongue3:

Now, you all know I've been fighting this last place all winter long. Trying to at least find some Wheaties!! Which....of course...I did *not* find today either! But....as I've said all along, I just *knew* the old coins ***HAD*** to be there...SOMEWHERE!!

Today? A tiny bit of vindication:

91 in every direction dance!

Finally.....ahhhhhh! :hello2:

The little thing below the half is a small tombac.

An air pump...that was buried and still works!

Congratulations on a nice big silver. She is a beauty. Persistence does pay. Keep swingin (and walkin).

Sweet!!! Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice! My next door neighbor's lawn produced maybe 75 wheaties and 1 Merc. 75' away, my lawn produced ONE wheatie and a few other things. Their house used to be a school.

Lovely coin! Glad you got something out of there! Is that a film canister? Also: cool elephants.

Congrats on the Walker! Hey, I found a match to your round brass piece with 3 holes (above the pump) last weekend at an early site. You found a mix of modern to 1700’s (tombac) I wonder what the round piece is?ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1581000071.639403.jpg

Thanks!

A film canister did cross my mind. Nothing inside though. Not even a memory of any film. I've no clue. Seems too big to have held cosmetic powder. :dontknow:

Doesn’t that 91 sound Ssooo sweet!? I’ve only found one, with my ATP my second year detecting, and I remember that like it was yesterday... 91 91 91. When I dug my plug I gave it extra berth, while I didn’t know what I was, I knew it was special. I’ll never forget that feeling when she “Walked” out of the hole... Great save, Whadi... may you enjoy that feeling for awhile. Ddf.!

What a beauty! I can hardly wait to get my coil over one....one day:BangHead:

Theres she is she was just playing hide and seek
The Elephants are cool looks like a fun hunt

Great find!

For folks with the AT, yeah...91, 91, 91....sweet sound! Most of the time its a solid brass bolt, pipe, nut, etc. But, even as few times as I've actually gotten a large silver. I can pretty well tell the difference in a coin hit. For one thing, its a shorter signal.

In any case I still go into my 90 in all direction "dance". I go around and around checking it over and over. Don't get them very often so I want to live with it for a while. :tongue3:

Thanks!

I was so use to digging trash when I got my 90 signal a walking liberty half was the furthest thing in my mind till I picked it up. Congrats on a nice find. Makes all the time worth it.
