Interesting stuff...Cold fingers...War button ??

Anuway I left the house after 10 Am, and arrived on site around noon, not something you'd do in the good season, Man my fingers were cold.

The hunt was rather short at about 2 hours, oh boy, but anyway I do think I got a couple of decent finds.

The "shield having "KENTVILLE" on it is local, and possiblly railway ?
A very decent full penny NS 1P token
And a very decent IH penny

The button, possibly the best find, don't know what it is, but again very DECENT !!

HELP !! on the button.

Wil be digging again for sure.

It's a long Winter, plenty of time for stuff like that then.

I'm not sure if it's Winter for us yet, but I can tell you it's getting very close.... damn.... just checked the weather and there easily can be another Wednesday hunt. Hopefully we won't see any decoys in our field!

Just bought a couple of 10 packs of the hand warmers yesterday to keep the paws warm.

Good idea ! can you find them anywhere ? Those rubber palmed gloves I like, great fit, great for picking up small stuff, but zero insulating qualities.
