Took my stepson out today to do a little digging at a local park. I knew it is hunted quite frequently but it never hurts to see what the others have missed.
The old toy car was about 4 inches down and the knife was only about a foot away. Odd indeed!
The other looks like a tag of some sort and the last piece seems to be porceline. The F2 was dinging at the spot I dug that up but neither the Profind nor the detector sounded after removing that from the ground. I thought that was strange.
Any thoughts to what that could be. Sorry I didn't use anything for size reference. The porceline piece is approx. 3 inches in length.

Nice finds. They look old. Any idea how old that park is?

The majority of the park was donated to the city by the family that owned the property in 1916. The park is located on the banks of the Wabash River and has a lot of history tied to it.

I would keep searching there. That property sounds like it has lots of history.

Like the car also.
