Can you post a pic of it next to a coin for size reference? A pic of the back also. There's a thread at top that shows you what needs to be included on your post

Very small round pieces molded together I'm sure it's a type of metal nothing of value but curious to know what it is it's only about 1 1/2 inch wide

Possibly some kind of little fake toy coins that would go in a small chest. Just a thought.

It looks like a glob of metal punch holes; probably left over from some craft or jewelry project. Very cool find :) Breezie

OK, I'm going to make this much weirder. I don't know how to post a pic in a reply, but in a few minutes, I'll post a "What is it, that appears to be a dispenser for what you found.I logged on to post this pic and just happened to click on yours! Super strange. Check it out in about 5 minutes . . . I will title it: "Small copper disc dispenser" This is going to be a cool mystery to solve . . . IMG_2725.webp

Don't know about the original clump of them, bigfoot1 - but I had the same idea as you. I took one of my flat discs and hammered the crap out of it with a 3 lb ball peen hammer. It's just a copper disc. No explosive on it of any kind. Had it killed me though, we wouldn't have this mystery to solve. Hey, I don't have a lab, all I've got is a ball peen! And "If all you've got is a hammer, everything looks like a nail."
