Interesting find while metal detecting.... spear point?

Found today while digging a signal metal detecting. Completely coincidental that it was in the dirt being excavated from the hole while chasing a metal signal. I have no experience at all with Native American artifacts so any information at all will be greatly appreciated. I threw a penny in there for size reference.
