Went MD today and I found something that I thought was a small smashed bottle top or a old pull tab if you looked at it the other way, but the weight was off it seemed heavier so I'm subconsciously put it into my "keeps" to look at it later. Amongst the clad, silver ring and the pendant ( which is interesting in itself :) I found myself looking at this piece closer and I think it silver. It didn't show up in the picture, of the scale, but it weighs 4g. Very interesting tell me what you think?

I'm thinking it's from the bottom end of a walking cane - a NICE cane, at that!

Hi; I believe you have a smashed up ring. The center stone is either a diamond or a CZ. Reason I even suggest diamond is you say it has 8 holes around the Center Stone. Thus We know that back in the 30's + 40's and older they would put a diamond in the silver because they could not afford a gold ring. Yup, a poor man's Wedding Ring ok. Take it the jewelry store and get it checked ok. Let us know what happens ok. PEACE:RONB

I found out what that piece is. I noticed on the side it said STERLING 925S NORWAY. I googled pictures and saw this.
