Found a few bottles out detecting, must have been a surface dump. I looked up the the Churii Cafe in the local directories with no luck, maybe some of you might do better. It was found in Cripple Creek Colorado. The hood ornament thing is pretty cool, I wonder what its from?? Happy Hunting!!!

Really nice Good Luck in your search

Good finds...I think your "hood ornament" might be a Moto Meter, an "add-on" with some cars that were early gauges for radiator temps. Yours lacks the usual attachment on the underside, but it is a cool recovery...whatever it is.

Thanks billb, it will be fun exciting to see what turns up. Hi Lenrac2, it sure was a busy place at one time. People came from all over!!
Thanks peruna, I think you might be right. I sure like finding the car items!!!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

the winged item isn't a moto-meter radiator cap. I doubt it's automotive related. The attachment points look as if it was meant to be attached to wood. I feel certain it is some sort of tie down point for something.

Thanks Jewelryguy, that makes sense. Maybe it is from off an old boat!!

I'm thinking your wingy-thingy might be a key hole escutcheon for a trunk or some other lock box.
