Interesting beach day

I can't remember the last time I went to the beach and didn't find a single coin, but, yesterday was such a day. No matter, I managed to come up with other good stuff anyway! I just worked the wet sand and surf at a minus 1.5 tide. Both sunglasses are still quite usable.....one has a C E logo, the other is a Quay. a couple of junk earrings, a junk yin/yang pendant, An Apple iphone that was almost 2 feet down by the water's edge (almost gave up on that one, as the surf kept filling the hole in), and.....a 22K gold ring with a BIG diamond. Tests real on my $20 diamond tester, so, not etched in stone yet, but, I doubt someone would get a 22K ring with a fake. I'll get it checked by a pro though. Weighs 8.2 grams and is a size 11 3/4.

Gee if you're digging gold as that, I'd be happy never to dig a single coin again.
