Got any to share with everyone? Itā€™s like art for me. Iā€™ve noticed some days are dead in this forum. Must be something good on tv. If you share Iā€™m thanking you in advance. As you can see by my pictures I have to really focus most times to see anything.

You all make me jealous. All my "lookin" fields are either too overgrown or planted this time of year.
Good news is they are cutting the corn now so get out there. Also you could always share some past finds we might not have seen before

Used to get too excited and forget the insitu pic, been better lately, first two were in the river, the one underground is by far my favorite, it wasnā€™t eroded or washed anywhere, thatā€™s where it was dropped likely 8,000 or so years ago, I carved around it and cleaned it with a toothbrush, been trying for a few years now to find another that way but so far no luck.

Or a slightly different flavor, possible/likely buffalo bones and teeth and a nice point from the same spot

Well one tooth keeps telling me the other file is too large, usually a screenshot and re upload solves that but not tonight for whatever reason

Hey older those are some super pics.
Also I donā€™t find many if any fossils but I do find teeth that I believe are horse or cow so I just leave them.

The past few times I've been out, I haven't taken my phone. I used to be good at taking insitu's but I have a tendency on breaking phones.I
I always get the complete waterproof phone case that way I donā€™t have to worry about the insurance on the phone. Once in a while you have to clean the lenses or the pictures come out blurry. But when I walk the fields I wonā€™t be taking pics cause the owners can see me and probably wonā€™t understand. Everyone is so suspicious now days and I might get kicked out.

I have been taking insitus of river finds since the early 1970's.
Here is a collage of some favorites.View attachment 2098034
Awesome pictures. I hope thatā€™s a poster if not it should be. I had a super insitu on my phone and were saving them until last year when my phone broke and I lost them all. Iā€™m back to saving again šŸ˜ƒ

Bison Insitus

Bison were the staple for the Plains cultures and during the many years of our river hunting for artifacts we have found a substantial number of bison skulls. This is a collage of some of the specimens we have found. View attachment 2098155
Those are amazing. They find a type of extent bison here in Florida. One was found with an embedded point broke off in its skull. They are a rare find though.
