The "button" is a concho from a belt.Looks to be a modern one. The Fuller item looks to be part of a brush. The bristles were held by the cone part, with the handle on the shaft.Remember the Fuller brush company?

Thanks guys,Junkdigger,That would make good sense, with the wire bent back out and the wire inside the bell is looped as to hold the bristles.Thanks.

The key is probably a key to turn on a gas stove or heater....it has a square hole in the end about 1/4 inch square.....if smaller it may be a key to wind a clock.........Hard to tell how big it is in the pic..

I am pretty sure the key is for bleeding the air out of those big old cast iron radiators people heat their houses with (or use to ) .

back in the 80's my mom bought me a white leather coat and that star button like the one in your pic..was on it. long leather fringe went through the holes and tied in a knot and hung down i think mom even had boots w/that....

The key is commonly known as a "barrell Key", it was used on locks that were used in trunks, wooden boxes, and luggage cir 1850s to 1950s. It would make sense to me that you found it near a railroad.

The key is the type used to "wind something".

The 2 "ears" are a dead give away indicating its use. It's not the type used on old 'railroad trunks' because I have 3 of these trunks myself (circa 1870s - 1910s), and they all have barrel keys with single ears.

The clamp is just that - "a cable clamp" of some sort.

The button thing looks like it was used as a suspender type ornament.

The other piece I have no idea.

The button thing is probably from a horse bridle, I have found several here in Germany.? Probably has a little age on it, any idea what material it's made from?? Here is one of mine from the fields, a 1 cm piece of paper for size reference.? HH, Mike
